hello members, new to the site , we have a ducato 14 mwb motor home 2.5d .1998 model, our m/h has developed an annoying small clunk whenever we go a small bump or down a small hole , i have looked at the post on page 11, about strut change , i was wondering is there a mechanical test i could perform to see if the top bush with 3 m8 bolts is on its way out, i think this could be the problem after reading , but i would be greatful if any member could offer some advice to give me confidence on what to do to check, i think i could mange to change this bush thingy by reading the post on page 11 again. thank you bill.
If the top bushes are gone, usually the steering is stiffer, doesn't self centre after turning, and continues to feel like it's pulling to one side for a while. Sometimes accompanied by clonks when turning from lock to lock on three point turns etc.
On my 2002 2.8 we get a quiet chunck at low speed when you put the power on or lift off. Iwas told by fiat that it was take up of slack in the splinds of the drive shaft and was normal.??

Hi there, my ducato van is doing the same would this bush be the one with the ball bearing? I have looked on euro car parts and there seem to be 2 parts for the top.
