General Closing the sunroof

Hey Guys,

Silly question but is there a trick to closing the sunroof?
Okay i have only had my HSX since yesterday so excuse the clueless' ness.

I have to check from the outside if it is closed? Normally it isnt and I have to play with the switch before it closes.

keep your finger on the switch until it stops moving, then it is closed. works like this both ways.

If you're lucky it will work like above anyway, I've always had to do the half-in-half-out-the-car option

It could be that the previous owner had been inside the roof light unit and, perhaps, turned the cog on the motor thereby throwing off where the unit stops.
When you hit the button to close the sunroof does it move to a certain point and then stop? If so this theory may have some validity.

If the above isn't the case and no matter what, the unit only stops either when it fully tilted or fully hidden within the roof, you need to replace the sunroof relay. Its found next to the sunroof motor. This will then stop the sunroof in the closed position.
