Clicking noise from behind steering wheel area

I have a Fiat Brave 1.4S that is making an irratating clicking noise which appears to be coming from behind steering wheel area. The clicking noise happens when I am driving at all speeds and typically when I am slightly turning the steering wheel. It seems to be more prone when I steer to the right.
Has anyone got any clues.

Steering noise

Hi,

Mine was due to this roundish thing with the wires that attach to the airbag and horn--both were deactivated due to the break in the ribbon cable. You gotta have your mechanic dismantle the steering wheel and look for this thing. Get this replaced!
