Hi all,

new here, but not new to Fiat (owned various over the years) - question is, mother has a cinquecento SX, but no user handbook. A red warning light next to the battery one keeps coming on - it looks like a tube spraying something - what does it mean, what do I need to do?

Any help appreciated - regards, steve

Means a diagnostic check. Doesn't specifically mean fuel injectors

For instance mine has been on for weeks and the other day.....my clutch slave cylinder went :(

Though should be fixed this afternoon (y)

Welcome to here by the way:)

That is an 'injector test' lamp. It should come on every time ignition is turned on and goes out soon after. This indicates that the injectors are fine.
If it comes on and stays on then it could either be that your injectors need cleaning/servicing or else you might have some corrosion in the wire connectors!

Hope this helps!(y)

Kaci
