I have a 1995 Cinquecento with the 700cc 2 cylinder engine - from the 126 I guess??
It's a pretty good motor for what I need around town and I just did a 400km trip today with no problems at 60 to the gallon!
The engine at idle is a little rough and perhaps turns a little slowly and it hunts slightly as well in quite a rythmic way...
Once the throttle is open, it's fine so I am leaning towards an adjustment problem rather than anything more serious. There are lots of adjustments on the carb and lots of vacuum lines - does anyone have a diagram of the carb and a basic setting up guide??

Thanks for any help!

hi

the 704cc cinquecento is very rare in this country, the 899's and 1108s all run electronic ignition. as a result, we're probably not the best people to be asking.

the early pandas and unos ran carbs, and might well be very similar to what the 704cc runs - might be worth checking in those sections?

Not sure to be honest - I'll check out the carb properly this evening.
I just found the oxy-sensor connector shorted out, no doubt that would have some effect on the poor running....
