probably cos the body style suits them, they are bike engined with the engine in the back over the back wheels, most of the inner body of the floors etc is cut away and a space frame roll cage built to hold everything together, the seicento is also used. I have seen cinqs at autograss with TWO Hayabusa engines in, the most insane cars going!!

I think the autograss people this year started using 899 cinqs in their class 1 division racing against the mini's and cit AX's, not seen any myself in the one or two meetings I have been to, but they are out there being used.
