Snot a carb, its a throttle body. However, as mentioned, ball pien hammer and cornflake packet, make a gasket.

whatabout the water leaking from it. will the carboard soak it up ??

the holes were dry,, yes in the middle of the carb there is a gasget and its split but i thing the water is from that cuz when i took the top of there was water on the top of the carb were the injecter is

If the water is on the outside of the throttle body, it may be spray from a leak in the small diameter coolant hoses in that area. They are under pressure when the engine warms up.

The inlet gaskets need to be ok for engine performance, finish off the porridge or wheatabex, and cut up the box.
