General Cinquecento 1.2 engine swap help.

I have a Fiat Cinquecento sporting 1.1 and have also been thinking of doing the engine swap to the punto 60 1.2 engine.
just in simple form does it make a great difference to top speed, acceration?
Am wanting to get more power out of my cinquecento weather its from the 1.1 engine or getting a 1.2 engine fitted.
how much does boring do?
induction kit made the car go slower, do thats gone sticking with original

in short, no. what the conversion does have however is far better in gear acceleration and flexibility

if your induction kit made the car go slower, i'll bet it was a k and n pancake on the TB? breathing in hot air loses power. you need cold air. the kit only really helps engine responsiveness rather than outright power
