Cinq Sub securing

Cinq Sub securing

Bolt it in some way - whether it's bolting it straight through the boot floor (make sure you don't drill into anything) or use something like the spare wheel bolt. I wouldn't use anything that could work loose.

I don't want to bolt through the sub, as I would like it to be reasonably easily removable. Got 2 bikes to squeeze into the back sometimes, so I thought about welding some loops to the floor and using tie-downs.

Only problem I can see is that in a crash, they may slacken off if its a rear ender.

Seen some "Fixies" on a Climbing website.

Bolt one to the floor, one to the rear seats bolts.
Then use some tie-downs.

a good way to keep it easily removable is to screw a bracket on the back seat, and then 2 brackets onto the sub box, and then slide the box brackets behind the seat bracket.

that probably doesn make much sense, so let me illustrate.
