General Cinq/Sei Abarth

Currently reading:
General Cinq/Sei Abarth

Cinq Abarth in good condition with history and relevant keys etc = approx £1100
based on 60k

Sei Abarth in good condition with history etc = approx £2000 based on 30k

hope this helps, but if not then probably the best way to gauge the market is to find a car on ebay, then find a car on autotrader with the same specs / condition/ etc, and work out the average price from the two - ie.

this one on trader (albeit a shuey):
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/FIAT+SEICENTO/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146,N-4294965908-4294966893/advert.action?R=200805302976731&distance=45&postcode=hu51pd&channel=CARS&make=FIAT&model=SEICENTO&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=
...call it 3k then:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-FIAT-SEICENTO-MICHAEL-SCHUMACH-SPORTING_W0QQitemZ230221303976QQihZ013QQcategoryZ9843QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
...at 1800

add 3k to 1800 and you get 4800 - divide by 2 and you get 2400 as a rough market guide.... not an exact science as you have to take into account condition of car, mileage etc and it can be hard to find two the same...

also you can try parkers (http://www.parkers.co.uk/)
who list a good condition shuey at £1875 based on 50k

£2000 is excessive for a sei sporting!

£1100 is more realistic for a sei sporting abarth for one of the early ones

Would echo ronnies sentiments about checking out the market but dont buy a car from him!

lol, was measuring things against Zoe really - she set me back £1900, is a mk2 - only 7 years old - one owner- full history - had 25k on the clock and initially was a good running stunner (until two weeks later when the head gasket went etc).
Even with all the work she's cost me no more than 3k - and bearing in mind some of that has been spent on mods and ICE (and a new set of rims which are a WIP at the mo).

Local to me there's a private dealership who have a yellow shuey up at £2995.
The car is cosmetically in immaculate condition inside and out - and only 19k on the clock.

Cars in east yorkshire do tend to be pricey - mainly why i went to stockport to pick up my sei...

Of course this is all based on main and private dealer prices - enter the private domestic market and the prices shoot right down.

Having said all that, you really don't want to buy a car from me - sold Bertie (my old 899 cinq / sporting wannabe) for £400 with no stereo or speakers, a dodgy clutch and a badly chipped windscreen (although otherwise cosmetically and structurally the car was beautiful inside and out - and the engine, minus clutch, was a good reliable runner in the end).
