Anyone know where I can get a new or good used rear subframe for less than £350 quoted by main dealer? Trying to avoid the endless rounds of scrappies , lying in the cold wet mud, spending hours removing parts that turn out to be dud.

First time Fiat-er, so be kind to me!!

Hi. My mate has bought a cheap cinq allegedly with buggered handbrake but when I stripped it down I found the rear subframe (crossbeam - same thing really, different treminology) had 2 dirty great holes in it. If I can't get one cheapish I will have to remove and weld the original but my welding ain't that great!!

Thanks for the welcome!

Hi there.

Fairly soon - no MOT date set or anything. We are doing the car up for a trip to the Arctic Circle next year. The rear subframe / crossbeam (terminology) has holes rusted through in same place each side. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm in Glasgow but could travel to collect if you got the bits!

Cheers,

Colin
