When it is freezing temperatures I can`t open my Chroma using the remote keyfob, nothing happens when button pressed,I have to use key insert.Once opened remote works fine, any ideas anyone.

Problem with engine management shutting down when freezing temperatures,as locks work ok.
There may be something in this, the only two times I have had concerns with the immobiliser system (once the light on the dash wouldn't go out, the other time there was no accelerator response - both solved by a restart) have both been with snow on the ground. Any sparky type wizards out there who can explain this?

Got the same problem

After opening manually with key, all works fine

Main car battery voltage dropping coupled with oversensitive car remote control receiver?

You could probaly prove this by attaching a battery charger and trying again. If it works then disconnect charger and try again.

The only flaws in this plan is that attaching the charger to the battery besides power will also give potential extra aerial wires. Also one does not want to put too much charge into the battery, i.e. have to be quick.

A purist might attach the charger the night before, all cabled up but turned off. This will allow a failure, a quick turn of of charger and retry, followed by charger power off and retry again. Having gone to all this trouble sods law states that you wasted your time.

I've found info in Fiat Service News.

This is problem when car goes to sleep mode after turning alarm on, is nesessary to exchange part number 735447343

That problem has been found in cars from 2057574 to 2065007, if car is during warranty there is no problem with repair.

After warranty there should be only good will from Seller to resove that problem
