Any .bin files flying around ...? Anyone care to share ?
About 8-9 years ago I was looking for .bin files for Seicento Sporting and came across two versions. I bought a willem eprom programmer and got to work.
Both chips seemed to have the same effect, a bit more spunk, the engine was more responsive. However one of them left the engine/injector light ON .. so I went with the other one which doesn't do that and the immobilizer works too (my key got decoded somehow and I had to start the engine each time using the 4 or 5 digit sequence with the gas pedal until i got a new key.. so i figured the immobilizer was working).
I've had this chip since ..but I have no idea what's changed from the original, I can just tell from feeling the car run better.
I'm sure I found one of those files on some eastern european (czech ?) webpage about tuning.. I can't remember about the other one though.
Anyhow, does all this sound familiar to anyone ? I'd love some more info ..or a better/tested bin to burn and try.
I could try to dig up those files for anyone interested too .. for free of course.
