Hi everyone,
Qubo 1.3 multijet 95, 2015. looking for a bit of advice after glow plug message and running multiecuscan.
Car starts fine.
I cleared the faults and just the glow plug 4 stays on.
I'm thinking just to change number 4 glow plug but could it be module or relay? How can I check?
Thanks

Getting to that age then. Has it ever had glow plugs in your ownership?
I got it in 2020 at 30k miles and not had to replace anything apart from a snapped suspension strut spring. It's getting to that age/mileage now when a few things are cropping up, such as higher oil consumption.

Hello, In my opinion I shall try to change all 4 glow plugs.

That does point to glow plug no. 4 being bad.
The relay definitely is fine. If the relay was bad you’d get all cylinders failing together, not just no. 4.
You can replace glow plug number 4 only. No need to replace all 4, that can be done opoptional, it is not required.
One important detail about glow plugs is that they can snap.
So, very recommended is to warm the engine slightly, use penetrating oil and don’t force it.

And yes, you can test the glow plugs to know if they are good or not.
You measure the resistance on them.
Take the connector out of the plug and have the multimeter's red lead touching the plug there and black lead on battery negative terminal, engine block will do.
Results are:
Good plug 0.5-1.5 Ω
Week, aging plug 2-5 Ω
Dead, open circuit OL or ∞ symbol
Faulty, short circuit 0.0 Ω
