Panda (Classic)  Charmanda(er) The Panda

Introduction

Name Change! Previously known as Charmania for anyone not in the know, she's had a slight rename, keeping the Char but sticking my favourite childhood Pokemon name in there, Charmander, mainly because the first time I ever encountered a Panda I was about 8 years old and Pokemon was my favourite thing in the whole world.

Some details,
1992 Fiat Panda 750 Mania
769cc FIRE engine.
Lowered 40mm.
Seicento Sporting Front Seats
Side Stripes for faster acceleration
Fiat 127 'Palio' Alloys.
Veglia Rev counter, so I can count my revs.

I washed her, wanted to take her somewhere nice for pictures but it hasn't been sunny for long enough to do that, so I'll get nicer pictures at some point....
Here she is now, Charmanda.

Sorry for the terrible lighting. Can't do much about the sun.
homeward this means I could perhaps meet you at your next convenient visit to Verns for that all important J.D you owe me ;)

Sounds like a plan...! (y)

Hoping to be down there in a week or so... -- still waiting to confirm some stuff, though, so will let you know...!

Congratulations, by the way...! :woot:

Well got home yesterday. She looked oddly clean although no one has owned up to washing her.

Anyway she started right up first try so that's always a plus (y)
Brakes were noisy and crap for first 200 yards and then went back to normal.
Driven about 30miles and shes been fine :D

Went to a Halloween party last night, memory is faint on how this occurred but she received some sort of welcome home party of her own....

 You're taking a big risk there, especially with the bonnet, one day they won't just pop out. :nono:

i know of a mini that ended up properly caved in on the roof just like that  You been told off already so i won't scald you further but that properly made me cringe looking at that pic.
Do people really have such little faith? Its not like we jumped on the poor girl, the roof didn't flex anymore than it does when I wash it.... I'm not saying I recommend this but far worse have been done to cars than sitting on them.

Probably be safer to play the game we all did when younger -

just how many people can you get in a 2 door hatchback?

I think the record was 2 in the passenger seat (they were close ;))

4 in the back

and 1 in the boot

of a Festa - mk1.

This was the eighties and lowering kits weren't readily available :p

Really stupid question, remember that oil change I was going to do before Uni and I bought all the bits and then Uni suddenly rushed round the corner and I didn't have time. Well I was just about to treat her to it, got her up on axle stands and was about to drain the oil but fortunately I realised I can't get the oil cap off?

Its not round? How do you undo it?:confused::bang:
