Changing the depth of my Tyres...!!!???

ok... having posted a while ago... im now wondering...

would it be possable to change from a 195 / 55 / 15 down to a 195 / 50 / 15.?

yes,a lot of people in my country is doing that because the 195/50/15 tyre is almost half the price of a 195/55/15. The difference in the radius is a little above recomended but everything will be ok.
