Change time

Well, it is that time, and I was wondering a few things. I am going to change the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, and cables on my own, so I would like to know:

What oil filter should I get?
What oil should I purchase?
Is Royal Purple good for this car?
What spark plugs should I buy?
What kind of spark plug cables should I get?
Is this a relatively easy job on a Fiat?
What is the torque on the spark plugs?

My wife's car is a 1998 Fiat Brava 1.6 (103hp).

Let me know what you think. I am currently stationed in Germany, but I have access to the PX on base, so the Royal Purple is easy and inexpensive for me.

filters, it doesnt matter what u get, they alll do the same job, we use mahlle at work ad gates belts. gates is good and anyone will agree, they are expensive however and spark plugs NGK but boshcan also be good.

torque...hmmm not sure i do mine of feel...
