Is it worth to change my 1.4 engine for a 1.2? Do I have other chances in the engine mods with the 1.2 engine? How many injectors does it have? Would it be hard to change? Any used 1.2 engine for sale?

I used to have a 1.4, now I have a 1.2.
1.4 Stats:
Bhp - 80
Insurance Group - 6
Mpg - 40.4 (used to only get about 200 from a tank!)
Valves - 12
Injectors - 1
1.2 Stats:
Bhp - 82
Insurance Group - 6
Mpg - 40.9 (I get +500 regularly from £40 of petrol)
Valves - 16
Injectors - 4 (i think, not exactly sure however it is definatley multipoint injection)
From my experience of both engines the 1.2 is better, seems to have more power in all gears. Only down side is it sounds (quoting someone else on here) subaru-like over 3000 revs when you have an induction kit and exhaust on but after a couple of weeks you get used to it.

Depends what state your 1.4 engine is in, if its on its last legs then maybe - if not then i'd stick with the 1.4 for a bit longer. I have no idea how much it would cost to change an engine and with the 1.2s being about £2000 at the moment it might be better to change the whole car.

You can angel tune a 1.2, don't think the 1.4 is on the angel tuning price list.
