you gotta remove the stereo, the gearstick and handbrake gaiters, the ashtray and the little compartment under neath, there's screws on the side at the top, think there's some behind the heater vent on the sides too.theres two in front or the gearlever(towards the handbrake) and some under the handbrake gaiter. i think that's all, maybe theres some clips too, what the hell just be ough with it if you've got a spare one, for a nice looking console see

yey, i'm looking to fit that colour gaiters and stuff in mine. Leaving the console and dash black and spraying surrounds and detail blue to match...I think. ;)

Where do you sit?

85% of Marea HLX drivers have speeding tickets.... lol they'll have to catch me first.

blue. looks cool with the blue interia.
how did u mask the bits above the dials,i used blue tack but had to srub them up after. shure there must be an easyer way

took me a while to get it out but i managed it ok so thanks.

I used vasaline applied with a cotton bud.
I got some funny looks in the chemist when i was asking for vasaline cos the hubby wanted it :I:I
I sprayed it nd let it dry then it came off in one go. Like peeling a plaster.
Still as fiddly as blue tack though.
Have you got any pic's would love to see it.

White PVA glue is the best thing for masking those areas.
Squeeze it into the parts you don't want to paint (it levels itself) and wait for it to dry, it turns partially clear and feels like rubber so once the painting is done and dryied it can be pulled out like a rubber bung.
