Central Locking Problem

When i close the door it seems although its not catching on the door latch because it just stays open and when i try to lock the door with my key fob it locks then opens a second later, i was told its due to the cold weather, or no grease on the lock or summat i was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on what it could be or what i could do to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated, Stu..

spray a lil lube into the catch mechanism and the hinges etc and make sure they are tight. then give it a go.

my catch started to stick slightly open and not lock.

Like Dan said - the plastic on the catch gets a bit out, it splats a bit so catches on the outer non moving parts.
And the doors on all Italian cars cant get locked before they are shut right.
