Grande Punto CD/Radio code problem

Firstly hello everyone. Initially I've joined to see if someone can help with a code. Just got a Punto Grande in the family and realise we don't know the radio code which will be an issue if the battery is disconnected. None of the online code finder sites seem to be able to help. The radio looks original as it has a custom fascia fitting the console. It is a Grundig CD/Radio model FI19CD (or F119CD?).

S/no. FA683181700881

Other numbers on it are 7354107270 and 28171066 plus the EAN 02 56831 0330 170088.

Can anyone help or should I just call Fiat customer service with this data and the car VIN number?

Sorry..... I don't have a calculator for Grundig radios.

If it's the original radio that was fitted in the car during manufacture, then you can get the code from a Fiat dealer, but they are likely to charge between £15 and £40 for it depending on the dealer.

If the radio is working now, the code will be stored in the car's body computer, so you shouldn't need it if the battery is disconnected and reconnected.

Thank you Varesecrazy & Davren for your advice. The radio is the original as far as I know, so we shouldn't have a problem. That's good to know as we may need to take the battery off to avoid trouble with the drivers airbag whilst we replace a tatty steering wheel.
