CD player issue

Hi

I have a 07 grande punto with a dodgy cd player.
A cd will play for a while, then stop. It won't let me eject the cd and when I press the cd button it reads aux. After the engines been off for a while it works again fine.

I'm sure this has happened to other people so any help would be appreciated

Could be a lot of things but sounds like a classic case of over heating either from a faulty component or circuit board track (dry joint in the solder) when it warms up it expands breaking the circuit.
