Technical CD Changer

I have just bought a Marea weekend 2.o estate, and the cd changer doesn,t work just says SAFE when switched on. can anyone help?

stevh1768 , welcome to ff , safe mode is when the powers been disconnected and you need the security code to allow you to use it , fiat can get you the code but they'l charge you around the £40 quid mark.
But you never know some genius here may have a better answer for you - they'r clever like that. Wish you luck.

I have the code for mine but never needed to use it even after swapping out the combination switch where the battery was off for about 3 hours to avoid getting the air bag or its warning light triggered.
If it makes it easier to decide we have always been very pleased with our OE fit CD player.

What model and serial number is it? The code number is easier got if you make a donation to FF
