CD Changer Problem

I've got a CD changer in my 1996 1.4 sx (the models where they still ran the wiring to the boot). I appear to have a loose connection in it somewhere, as when I go over a bump the right hand speakers cut in and out randomly. It's very annoting when you put the volume up and the bloody thing pings back on! This problem doesn't exist when I listen to the radio or play a tape.

Anyone any suggestions as to where I should start looking for the problem?????
