Well got new number plates the other day those steel pressed ones which look brillant, just thought take the old plates off & stick these ones on, no it wasn't that simple but a right pain in the arse :bang: Basically the old plates were those ones that fall apart when you take them off, they were stuck to the backing plate so when I took the surround off then pulled the plate it ripped so i was like okay that doesnt matter really but when i got the plate off behind it was a metal bracket with those stupid anti-theft screws in it I dont know why it had them because if some tried to steal the plate it would of been in a million bits by then but anyway those screws where impossible to get out tried everything even drilling didn't work but then my gf brother just screwed it in a little bit it to free it up then wiggled the bracket got a flat head screw driver then slowly it unscrew with alot of force lol Only manged to do the rear one but will do the front in afew days.

Cheers tbh I dont think they are but definally look more legal than the ones that I had on my mk2. They don't have the address of where they are made etc... but the police never pulled me for my old ones.

regarding your idea for the wheels - i reckon anthracide with orange pinstripe, will look sexaay.or the cheaper option, colour them all in with an orange permanent marker, will look seriously awesome! (sarcasm) ;)and i still havent put a thread up of my car yet, purely because i am not sure how to put the pictures up ;)and also, its a lot of typing and ive just got back from a 2 week trip to florida, so i really cant be arsed ;)

Where did you get your plates done mate?

My front one is ruined so thinking of changing them and saw some just like yours on a yellow zetec s yesterday and they looked very smart

anyways. any plans for what to do next?

im thinking you should put suicide doors on it, and hydraulics, and paint it metyallic gold with all the trims in chrome paint.

This makes me think this is what your car is gunna look like.

But just put the new front number plate on (if you saw my rant on the last page) wasnt that bad tho got a techique to get anti theft screws out ;)

But Gsr next :)
