Carbonio Black / Crossover Black - the same?

Is there much difference between Crossover Black and Carbonio Black? Are they both metallic? Seen a 500 online in Carbonio Black (not seen it in the flesh yet) and it looks great, but wondered if it is metallic with silvery flecks or golden flecks, etc........

The black on the Fiat 500 is described as Metallic Crossover Black (Paint code 891). The Carbonio Black is not the correct name but some describe it with that name. Alfa Romeo use a Nero Carbonio but it has a different paint code of 876. On the Abarth 500 the Black is called Metallic Scorpian Black and it's the exact same as Metallic Crossover Black (ack. to John)

Gucci has a different black and it's called Black with Glitter. Don't know what the paint code is for it or if a code even exists !

The Metallic Black that I had did have silvery flecks (unsure about the golden) going through it but it had 'dulled' and was not as metallic as a new one. I struggled to get it looking right which was in start contrast to the Pearlescent white which always looked amazing.

OK - seen a Pop 1.2 that they describe as Carbonio Black, yet a few listings down one the same age is classed as Crossover Black.

Looks fab with the cream ambience - I am not sure on the wheels trims as I currently have alloys, but could change those at a later date, or get the more shiny retro wheel trims, which would look good with black.

I did ideally want a lounge with the panoramic glass roof, but this seems a good buy and my budget just got lower due to some other concerns at home

If you are looking for alloys it's best to get them at the time of getting the 500 - it can work out a lot more expensive getting them afterwards. Aftermarket wheels haven't really worked out. There is the option of the vintage wheel trims. Also with 14 inch steelies they are better on mpg but wouldn't have the turn-in or braking capability of the bigger wheels - but that does not matter to some.

I was never to sure about white ambiance with black but it can look well.

Hopefully things will pan out at home so you'll be in a better position as to what to do.
