General Car Wash

This sounds like a stupid question but, Is it ok to take my multipla (with Fiat roof bars - no box) through a standard car wash?

Taking a car with roof bars running across the width of the car into a car wash runs the risk of the revolving brushes tangling in the bars.

Probably wouldn't damage the car too much, but the car wash operator might take a dim view of someone being so daft and damaging his machine.

There's likely to be a notice at the car wash telling you not to take a car through with roof racks, aerials etc.
