Hi and WELCOME TO THE FORUM

Have a look at THIS guide on how to fix your problem (assuming you have a punto mk2b)

Just to rul it out:-

I don't know about the Punto ( I have never had one), but do check all of the cars earthing points/wires/blocs. I do not know how the Punto is constructed, so it may have any combination.

A broken earth wire can manifest itself in virtually *any* strange combination of unnconnected electrical appliances, as the postive feed in tries to find its way to earth.

As an example of what a disconnected earthing wire can do:-

On my 1972 Citroen DS, I once mistakenly knocked the left front headlight *earthing* connection off (not the positive feed).

This resulted in when I went to put the headlights on....in me having a very dim left front headlight and sidelight, and the left back indicator on ! Not blinking...but a constant light.

This was with the indicator on he stalk in the "off" position.

For some reason the path the headlight positive feed found to earth itself was through the rear left indicator.

When I found the pulled out earth wire, I plugged it back in, and hey presto everything was normal again.

Once you have experienced it, you always check the earths/earthing points, in order to rule them out.

So what I forgot to add, was in addition to checking all of the earthing points around the car, check the heater fan blower earthing wire first (to check that it is not that).

I hope it is that simple.
