General Car juddering

hey guys, when i left work last night, my car started juddering.. like its running out of petrol.. only does it at times though.. and only when i put my foot down.. when its idling or going down hill in gear its fine. wondering if anyone could help me. cheers Mark

Hi what engine do you have? Is there red light on the dashboard? When did you change filters and spark-plugs?

sorry its a 1.2 16v no lights on dash. and i changed oil filter and sparkplugs bout month ago.

I would measure resistance of spark-cables and coil at first. It could be also water in fuel tank/fuel filter. When did you last change fuel filter?

i have had new leads and plugs just borrowed a coil pack to see if it cures it.

Could it be a case of a clogged fuel pump?
