Technical Car Battery Advice.

Hi all
Can anyone recommend a battery brand and price/where to buy. Id rather have quality long lasting/good starting than cheap.

Was in Halfords today they want £80 quid.
My car is a 1.4 12v 40Ah and 200CCA is recommended in the book, I was going for 60Ah+ 250CCA+

Was looking at yellow tops but they are stupid moneys.

bought a "banner" battery for the tub, 063 size, £30. only coz it was cheap, and we use the brand at work, never seen them go off, despite all the abuse they get.

I put a Bosch on mine about 5 years ago and it's been good. It cost about £5 more than the cheap one in Halfords. I got it from a local Motor Factors.
