I was told by a local car dealer that i could get an early model Stilo for around £1700-£2000, but without travelling 100+ miles from home i'm having no luck finding anything. I'm starting to lose hope.
Was the dealer just having me on, or is it just that no-one is selling any in the Gwent area at the moment?
Well no – they were not having you on.. Mine is a 03 1.8 dynamic @33k miles and if i were to sell it in a hurry – it’d be worth £800. Problem is - having just spent 1k on it (new clutch, variator, belt, a few other bits) - why would i sell it? – This might be true of many people: in the current financial situation i can’t afford a new car.. can’t even afford to keep this one running well so am not selling.
Will consider trading services though - can do your belt/variator/many other things - if you are good with bodywork :yum:
