Can you help?

Hi to everyone,


I have just joined and this is my first post, please be gentle

I don't know if anyone can help but I am looking to buy a bleed screw for the radiator hose on my 2003 Fiat Panda 1108 CC.


Earlier on today I took her into the garage for a service and on my return I was advised by the mechanic that he had accidently broken the bleed screw.


He rang his local supplier (Vosper's) and they have quoted £34!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am told this is because they wont sell the bleed screw without the hose.....even so, £34 for a bit of rubber and a tiny piece of plastic, that's just criminal?


I have also checked eBay and other websites with no success and dint think it would be this hard to obtain one.


Does any one have a spare one they no longer need or have one they wish to sell?


If so could you please contact me ASAP.

im surprised your mechanic couldnt get something to fit with some ptf tape wrapped round it
no scrapyards near you? these screws normally get left in scrapyard cars?
try a google,breakers in (your area)
