If your car has some extra options capability, you can enable/disable them (change configuration).
Otherwise, nope (you can't "add" non-existing functions which require hardware and/or specific software/firmware in the modules). MES has a simulation mode (Ctrl + F10), you can check what's available in each module (Engine, Body, etc.) at home, without the car.
I was thinking about something like that:
in some VAG cars you can enable showing oil temp on the dash or that it doesnt wipe the windshield that one additional time. Things that you have in car but change te bytes so you enable the option.
MES (and I think some other programs) have the ability to modify the vehicles Proxy Data. BUT SERIOUS WARNING. Messing with this Proxy data can serious cripple your car.
"Hello, I tried to deactivate the start and stop in the body computer with multiecuscan. I did the proxy alignment as requested, with confirmation from the app (completed). After this, it's impossible to start the car."
This user could recover the situation but many don't know how to.
