Can this be done??

Hi Guys,
I have a Marea 1.6 16v. I know that you can get a 2.0 20v in the Marea, but what I want to know is... is this 2.0 litre engine the same as the one in the Fiat Coupe just with a turbo stuck on? And if so, can the Marea accept the turbo engine from a Coupe?

Turbo is a different lump I believe. 2.0 20V N/A is also used in the HGT, Coupe and Marea. And yes, both will fit in the Marea but the plumbing will be a bit tricky with the turbo.

The turbo engine will have different internals to the non-turbo engine. They may look the same from the outside but they are far from the same inside.

Putting a turbo on a non-turbo engine without dramatically reducing the boost will result in a wrecked engine.

Well there's already 2 or 3 Bravos with the 20V Turbo in.

Yes but they don't come on here I'm afraid. Do a search and you'll find out loads of stuff. May take a bit of trawling to find the info you want though.
