Hey guys I left both my blue keys somewhere, so I thought I would be able to use the red key to drive my bravo... Unfortunately I woke up the whole street as my alarm sounded off as soon as I fired up the ignition. Is there anyway you can deactivate the alarm using the red key??

No mate, it deactivates itself after about a minute after I take the key out of the ignition and close the door...

But if I leave the key in the ignition it still keeps going off!! You can drive the car but the alarm is constantly sounding off...

Someone may think I've boosted my car!!

As a temporary measure I mean... for the time being.

Then goto Fiat?

Do any of you guys have the same problem with your red key? Which leads me on to my next question what is the point of having the red key if you can't use it to drive your car with... (BTW I do know the importance of the red key!!)

I can drive with my red key, works fine.

But what I can't do is deactivate the alarm beacuse my keyfob is on my blue key ;)

Had 4 Bravo's. All drive fine with red key.

turn alarm off

theres a panel on the right lower side of where you sit in the drivers seat (next to steering column.

its held in with 2 plastic screws, remove these and inside is a key lock to switch off the alarm. You need to have the little key to do this, if not, pick it in some way, you just need to turn it 90 degrees. This will turn the whole alarm system off

Re: turn alarm off

Red Key is for the Immobiliser, nothing to do with the alarm... and you shouldn't drive with the Red Key as it will be constantly resetting the Immobiliser.

After you have used the Red Key to drive with you may have to re-program your blue key(s) in before they will work again.

Re: turn alarm off
