Fuel Injector Light comes on when its cold weather, and the temp gauge stays down.
It may not be the injector at fault.
According to the repair guide here in the forum its the temperature switch on the injector that may be faulty.

My car is a Bravo12v 1.4 sx 1996

Does anyone know how to repair it?
can anyone post some pics so i can repair it without taking it to Fiat dealer.

Thanks in advance
best regards to all.

JM

Best way take it to fiat and do a diagnostic check.

Re: Thanks

Yes mmy speedo works properly

the strage thing is thata the injectors light nly gets on when is extremelly cold like in winter
during summer no problem

thnks for ur help

Did you check your thermostat ?. does the heater blow warm air in cold weather or does it take a long time to warm up ?. If so, could be the thermostat. But if not, get a diagnostic done..

Owen.

hi mate,
it definatley sounds like the thermostat, i had the same problem only in winter and when going down hill when theres not much strain on the engine, it would get really cold and then the injector light would come on, it is the thermostat jammed open, you will need a new one!
my heater still blew out hot air though

thanks for your help, will change the thermostat.

Fixed!!

The temperature sensor in the radiator, was changed , and the light never came on again.

just a quick point about the diagnostics :p sod the £40 mobile or the £70 main dealer charge, get on ebay and buy and OBD2 diagnostic tool! i got mine for just shy of £35 when i got it! best thing i ever bought, got one for the golf too as well as vagcom, there really not that hard to work

Assuming you have one of the 2 Bravo variants that is ODB2 compliant.

Otherwise its useless.
