Hi, i brought my orange grande punto yesterday, and i was reading that i could connect an external amp to connect a subwoofer to my exsisting headunit?
i've also read that i would have to lose my rear speakers if i did so, is this right?
i have the blaupunkt fiat 199 MP3 MY model with no standard subwoofer.
i havre knowledge on subwoofers and wiring them but ive never done it through a standard headset.
could someone please help me!!

thanks for getting back and a line level input? it has the 4 rca inputs. i went halfords and they told me with just a little converter which has to be spurred into rear wires and then i'm straight off. i have my 2 rca connections off the rear of my sub. Is this correct?
Would it automatically have a low level input for my subwoofer?

also would i lose power to my rear speakers by doing this? or does it just need it for a signal?

A up again matey about to do it this weekend and then i heard of an aux output out the back which slots into the back of the cd player. Are these leads the same as an rca output? any difference? thanks dan

i was going to have an amp for my 6 x 9s and i have a built in amp on my vibe cbr12 sub. could i use splitters off this or would the sound get interferred with. and i would need a low for the sub and high for the amp wouldnt i. is there a way round this. thanks for the reply
