Hi all yet another fiat problem  the anti roll bar bracket that is bolted to the body of the subframe has pulled right the way through and is hanging down .
the car is on 17" alloys and lowerd on gmax 70mm lowering springs and shocks nice and stiff on handling :slayer:.

now I no what the anti roll bar does but as im going London Friday morning and don't have time to weld a plate in at a garage.
so my question is would it be ok to just remove the whole thing and still be a safe ok drive and the car is stiff with the gmax kit :confused::confused:
help and advise would me much appreciated thanks luke

cheers for the reply fingers99 the car is actually pretty good condition never been welded and has only one small patch of rust and that's on the roof near the rear quarter glass (surface rust) no rot any where.
After further inspection I believe the reason for the anti roll bar to drop down is because one of the bolts looks like its been snapped for some time and when the one side of the car was jacked up it placed to much weight on the one bolt holding it in place and BANG snapped bolt.
Gonna remove in the morning as dave on here said that some of the 55s never came with them anyway

Hi all I removed the anti roll bar and me old dear took for a spin and she says its just feels light on the steering and still feels fine to drive so we shall see how it goes (y)
