apparently i was just told on another thread by law you have to have atleast one ..
it hasnt been confirmed yet .. but i should imagine it its true .. i wanted to remove mine !!

You can have just one as long as it will cover the screen sufficiently. #
If you want to remove them totally, you can always attach them to the wiper blades like a lot of modern cars so there are no bits required sticking out of the bonnet.

With no washer jets, yes. = FAIL
With one washer jet that covers the screen sufficiently = PASS
Washer jets converted to fit on windscreen wiper arms = PASS
As many washer jets as you like but no water in the resevoir = Fail
(depending how much of a t**t the tester is.)

But that's up to the car owner to make sure the is water in the reservoir before the MOT...

Yeah, I had checked everything else, just 4got that.
The tester let me put some in at the garage
He also let me move my air freshener that was hanging off the rear view mirror the only 2 things that it would have failed on.
so he wasn't really a 't**t' after all then
i think my hose has coem unattached from the washer bottle .. its just emptys its elf onto the floor when i fill it up .. but it worked fine untill a few weeks ago .. and ideas of how to get to it without taking the wing off?
Hi mate,
Remove the wheel and plastic wheel arch liner and you can access the washer bottle and pump that way.
