Hi All,

I see this forum isn't model specific but I'm looking for any info on these fault codes please.

(It happens to come from a 1999 1.6sx 100 Marea)

Many Thanks for any thoughts/info.

The first two codes indicate possible problem with map sensor or wiring.
The knock sensor code indicates possible problem with knock sensor or wiring.
The injector code indicates a problem with specified injector or wiring.

Well done getting MES to connect to your car- how did you manage in the end?

Thanks for that info. It's a bit worrying though, I had previously identified one injector (at the end of the loom so either 1 or 4)
had a higher resistance than it should. (Again, thanks to the forums here for that information..)
So the injector was expected, the two sensors (or wiring.. yikes!) are more worrying. Could the injector be causing those issues?

My local garage are friendly but are more of a service and brakes etc setup than digging about, and digging is expensive of course.
I noticed the diagnostics down the bottom of the output screen said the code wasn't currently detected.

To be brutally honest, if it runs ok then I don't care about the codes, it just has to get to the shops occasionally to keep my boy happy.
(I temper that with not being silly about it, a problem is still a problem even if it's ignored...., but does it actually matter......?)

I got the code with a million thanks to Nick (puntodeltathem), he said:

I dropped the baud rate of the com port in device manager to 2400
and also the send receive speed to 128(!) to get a response ,
together with latency at 2ms( recommended by Ross tech site)

Worth clearing codes and seeing if they come back quickly.
The codes could have been set years ago and never cleared . Codes can be set by people unplugging stuff to see what happens then failing to clear codes....

The injector code cylinder 1 matches with your other diagnosis (-:
