can anyone help me, possible tech advice

hi there peeps, the vauxhall forum i use no one has replied, and to be honest i know some people on here are really good at bein helpful,theres a bit behind my handbrake area which i`m guessing is for a phone, question is, can i get the bits so i can use it for my nokia phone

You sure its not for an arm rest?

no it for a phone connection of some kind reason is that it has a plate with brass connections on it, plus theres a release button, so i definiteley don`t think its for an arm rest the astra doesn`t have the room for one

I doubt its for a phone, its in such a bad place to reach, plus it would make it illegal unless it was handsfree etc etc.

Best bet would be to get your hands on the Vauxhall version of ePER.

anon-i already know about the astra armrest, its an aftermarket one, and seen as how the last owner was a company they fitted the phone thing in the middle, another reason for the fact its something to do with a connection for a phone is that the stereo is also ready to be used but a phone isn`t connected when i use the controls on the steering wheel

anon-what makes it illegal bein in the middle anyway, and bein the middle its not that hard to reach

its a phone connector, the fitting for an arm rest is different, trust me
