hi all, iv just been given a 2002 punto van, with a faulty deisel pump, fiat wont £800+ for a new 1 does any1 know were i can get 1 from cheap thanks lee

they are 1.9 in the punto vans of that era, but is it the turbo diesel model - jtd

or the non turbo

Hi mate,

If its a D, then they are quite rare, as most people tend to go for the more powerful JTD. It will be the same as on the Stilo, Doblo I believe

From your other thread, might as well keep it here though.

It will be a 1.9, but weather it is a JTD or N/a is the question. To help you identify it, If its a JTD it will say it on the plastic engine cover, and will have a separate air box in front of the battery tray. If its a N/A then the air filter box will be sitting on top of the engine. Also, have a look to see if yo can see an inter cooler (small radiator type thing) to the right of your radiator. If not its a N/A D.
