Hello dear Fiat-friends,

I'm the happy owner of a Fiat Ducato 1.9D which has been manufactured in the year 2000.
From time to time I'd like (or have to) storm the vehickle with a bunch of tools to make repairs/add new stuff, and though I'm an electrician from profession making my way through the technics of a car is something that hasn't always proved to be easy...... so that's why I'd like to ask some questions here instead of 'inventing the wheel again' myself.

Greetings. Bosch

hello also newbie here.. im so happy to be here.. hope to have friends.. :)

Finally I've come up to a problem... and I need some information :)

I've been busy installing an Waeco cruise control MS-50 (gift from someone at work) and wanted to use an existing control signal from my Ducato 1.9D
I've made an mistake (not reading the manual well enough) and spent some time figuering a way to find the RPM-wire.
I've found it in the end (had to dismantle half the front) and I learned my Ducato has a sensor for ABS on the engine instead of using the W+ of the dynamo.

The manufacturer of the cruise control mailed me I should use an speed signal (tacho) instead of RPM-signal.

Question; My panel's got an speed meter with an bowden cable so it's mechanical..... but is this type of Ducato also equipped with an (not used)electric connector for an tacho-signal i could use for the CC?
