Well, what a prick of a job, lucky a mate of mine is an ex Fiat mechanic so we did the job at his place.
Engine fully unbolted hanging on a hoist so we could shove it over.
Did the three belts, water pump, tensioner and idler. Got supplied the wrong belt for power steer so once again lucky for the mate, he managed to con the owner of a Fiat parts shop to take one home that night (Saturday) so we could finish the job next morning.
Best part of weekend was finishing the Marea and starting the job of pulling his crashed 130 Abarth apart.
Glad to have it done though, all belts were looking very past their use-by dates. Car has done 98000km, is a 1999 Weekend 2l 20V
