right i recently changed by from discs and pads on my 1.2 8v 2001, but the bolt on one side was snapped and the head of the bolt on the other side is pure rust so any piece you put in it it just grinds away the rust. any ideas on how to hold the calliper in place or where i can find replacment bolts or how to get the rusted bolt out

Which bolts exactly do you refer to? Do you mean the bolts that hold the caliper bracket onto the hub carrier? If so, you will almost certainly need new bolts, which should be available from brakeparts.co.uk (under 'caliper fitting kit'). As for the snapped bolt, you can remove that later with mole grips. As for the bolt with a rusted head, get an old socket one size too small and smash it onto the bolt head with a hammer. This should cut into the rust an allow you to chap a breaker bar on there and back the nut off.
