General C1007?

hi, has anyone any clues about what the fault code C1007 actually means?

I have had major headaches trying to fix my power steering problems::bang:

I am really confused about this code because although it does say that this is a motor fault (which I have changed!) I have read conflicting information, including that its actually a battery fault or actuator problem or a relay issue.

The 'c' in the code I also dont understand, because i believe this means 'chassis' problem?

I also am concerned about the complete lack of information on this code, if google has no info you know you're in trouble! It just seems odd that this power steering problem is SO common that logically it should produce a fault code that is also common and recognised? and this code is not recognised on ANY list i have checked!?!

Did you change the Power steering ECU as well or just the motor? Although not as common they can fail from time to time, I have one..... Somewhere

Try a general forum search for ecu fault codes and you should get lucky

yep ookey changed bloody everything and I believed checked everything, still these things are sent to try us...and i think i might try a sledge hammer next
