Styling By Diesel Boot trim

You took a risk there ... looks OK, but now reminds me of most other 500's on the road. Have to say, I didn't like the trims at first, but now I love them ... it's what makes the car a 'ByDiesel' ... Still, at least you didn't spray it white !!! Way too many of them around already !!!

No real risk, I went into Fiat and had a look at the parts diagram and could see that it was just stuck on.
I like most of the other trim bits.

Thanks for the photos!

Think I'll be keeping mine on though....looks too 'normal' with it off.

Yep, with a satin vinyl wrap.

What does that do?

I've seen some pictures and it's not quite the same colour as in the rendering which is a bit of a pity.

That's a shame. I guess i'll have to keep my eyes peeled. Only seen a green ByDiesel on the roads so far.

Seen more Pink ones than ByDiesel's. No accounting for taste clearly  :p

tbh, theres absolutly no point buying a by diesel if your just goin gto take the trims off! And if you are going to you need to take them all of including the trim lower down and on the doors. Its looks wierd with only the lower trim on, and ruins the whole point of the car.
cheers

Well perhaps that's how Rui likes his car and him liking his car is the point of him buying the car?

No point at all, apart from that was the only one they had in stock when I went to buy a 500 and the car I was selling was depreciating by £400 per month so a 3 month wait for a new car would have cost me more even if I went for a pop.

The By Diesel has almost every option as standard but has a load of crap plastic bits just double sided sticky taped on...and guess what I like all the extra equipment but not the cheap plastic crap so I have taken it off. I have also taken the nasty diesel bits off the door pillars and the diesel dash has gone. I like the other bits on the bumpers and the trim on the doors so they are staying.

The 500 is a cheap car that you can mess about with and not worry about it.
But when (if) i do get rid of it I can stick all the crap plastic bits back on just incase I sell it to someone that likes all the plastic crap.
