Matrix, I have been looking for a 3dr abarth for a mate of mine & have come across a few 5drs brand new for less than £12000 as they really do not sell & dealers will bend over backwards to get rid. I was offered a 5dr in moire black with leather,comfort2 pack, cold climate pack,8 air bags,17" alloys for 15k 3 days ago there was a 5dr metallic red brand new abarth leather Int. for £11995 at a huddersfield dealership so dont despair they are out there so dont get ripped & be PATIENT. All comes to who she waits......No i'm not religious & yes I think you're the only bird on the forum Good Luck.

Hi Peeps

Update for you!
Going to pick our 5 door abarth up on Saturday.
Have looked everywhere for one with leather, but to no avail.

Feel that the garage may have ripped us off abit about the warranty, but they have agreed to put it in writing that the 18mth warranty still stands as long as we service it straight away with Fiat (you would think they'd be paying for the service wouldn't u)?? This way fiat will revert the warranty as long as we have had it serviced (hope all that made sense)

Arhh well, i can't find any others anywhere in our price range, so this is the one.

Just need those nav disks now.
~The person that offered, r u still offering and at what price???
Many thanks for your helps guys over the past month

I hope the car of my dreams will be worth it.

Good luck with your new Abarth I got Mine in December 2002 with software version 8.1 installed I have had no problems Whatsoever with the running. Reading the other topics on this forum a few people have had problems & the overall impression is that a lot of the other owners are updating to the latest software version Of 9.7. I suggest that you drive the car for a while & if you have no problems don't update as once the bugs are in they tend to stay in. As for the sat nav, Navtech actually recommend that you copy the original & use the copy keeping the original safe, so copy's do work ok. I will be happy to send you a copy of 2003 to any address that you're happy to post on this "OPEN WEBSITE" free of charge. Bye the way this is the first car we've had that my wife volunteers to drive! :D

As I understand it, upgrading to software version 9.7 will have no effect on the running of the car - it relates to the SatNav console system and nothing else. It's not part of the engine management.

Hi there,

Copied discs DOOO work in the Abarth Sat Nav. I'm currently running a
copy of my own original disc. I also have two originals. An old one and a more recent one.

If anyone wants one, send me an email!!

P.S. I can;t get my abarth above 25 MPG no matter how hard I try.
Is this normal? Dealer thinks I'm mad, but the book quotes 28 combined - 43 extra urban (I think).
