General Buying a x19

Found a x19 in a friends Aunts garage. He thinks she is so desprate to rid of it he can get it for free. As this is my second year in college I wont have much time for resoring a car. I have restored an 944 porsche and a VW thing, so i can sure grind rust . But i need to know. Are parts hard to find? Expensive? Basicaly all i want to know before i take this car in, am i way over my head...

Parts for the x1/9 are suprisingly easy to find if you know where to look. Parts list and order forms for such a specimen can only be found in the darkest corners of the internet. my suggestion to you would be to subscribe to whichever parts magazine follows your year model most exlusively. Thanx
