busted remote locking

hi all
just bought a second bravo for myself and given the other to the missus,
its a white hlx mark 1 , the problem ive got is the micro switch and the led looking thing in the key has fallen off(still got the switch but its knackerd)
just wanderd if another board off another key would work or is it off to fiat?
cheers guys just be nice to get everything working (well apart from the rear wiper ,thats fooked already, altho it did work for a day)!!!

just rang fiat, they want £100+ for new coded key! ouch
if i got another board out of another key could i set the frequency of the alarm/cl myself?
would be a shame to get another alarm as everthing is already there!

Hello,

If the switch on the original board is just fecked, but the board is OK, then try and get another switch on to it. bring it to a TV repair guy or workshop..

should be a bit cheaper than replacing and coding the whole thing..

just remember to send that fookin fob then i wont need to resort to your tactics!! .

I just had a key from fiat £48 inc vat
£5 for the key to be cut
